In just 10 years, Privé Technologies has come a long way and achieved so much. However, as we prepare ourselves for the next 10 years to come, we wanted to take a moment to remember, celebrate, and reflect on our past milestones.Do you remember what you were up to 10 years ago? Take a trip down memory lane with us!2011 Entrepreneurial: Privé Technologies is established in Hong Kong by former J.P Morgan colleagues Charles Wong and Julian Schillinger, with the mission to democratise wealth management by using technology to make Private-Banking-esque services accessible for the masses.Foundational: Privé's first office is opened in Cyberport, Hong Kong, which will serve as our headquarters for the next 7 years.Visionary: Privé kickstarts its partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), our longest standing corporate partnership to date. By using AWS as our primary cloud provider, Privé becomes one of the first cloud-native technology companies in the region.


Growth: Privé goes global. Our first European office is opened in Austria and our now Group CFO, Roland Meier, joins the team as Managing Director - Europe.


Scale: Privé lands its first enterprise clients, including leading banks such as Citibank Asia, Baader Bank Germany and Unicredit Bank Austria. This provided validation for our technology and unlocked the next chapter in our growth.


Ambitious: Privé on the back of its enterprise deals, expands further by opening offices in Germany and Singapore. This enabled us to provide better services for our clients.


Aggressive: Riding its success in Singapore and following our clients launching our tools in further markets, Privé sets up its latest office in Malaysia.Innovative: Privé wins’s Technology Provider of the Year for its Structured Products Analytics Engine, robo-advisory and risk profiling.


Accelerate: Privé successfully completes its Series A funding round, which is led by Credit Suisse and Samsung. This will help facilitate Privé's growth in the Enterprise sector, with our coverage increasing to 16 markets globally.


Partnerships: Privé collaborates with Credit Suisse to provide External Asset Managers access to better wealth management technology solutions in Asia.Hungry: Privé opens more offices in Thailand and Frankfurt to propel our global expansion and provide better servicing as we sign on more enterprise clients.Consistent: Privé is awarded Best IAM/MFO Solution for the third consecutive year in the Asian Private Banker Technology Awards.


Exponential: Privé is ranked the 26th fastest growing company in the Asia Pacific by the Financial Times. Our global expansion plans start to bear fruit as we edge closer to our long-term goal of facilitating 25% of the world’s private wealth to be managed via our platform.Globalisation: Privé opens an office in Taiwan, adding one of the largest banks in the country to our growing roster of clients.


Explosive: Privé closes its Series B funding round, which sees the return of long-term partners Credit Suisse and Samsung and the welcoming of new asset management firms and institutional investors including global heavyweights Blackrock and Morningstar.Future-Forward: Privé closes its acquisition of Axial, an independent managed accounts platform that will expand Privé's platform offerings and unlock a new value proposition of providing strategies-in-a-box. This addition puts us in the prime position to service the Wealth Management sector, as discretionary portfolio management becomes a mainstay in Europe and Asia.We are very proud that the vision of our founders has become reality, but we could not have done it without our talented team and those who have supported us along this incredible journey. Together, we eagerly anticipate what the future holds for Privé.
